At LJC Auto Recycling & Salvage, we have a strong understanding of the environmental changes happening today, and the effects that these changes are having. Furthermore, as a company, we aim to minimise the effects of these changes by collecting used metal and ensuring every aspect of the recycling process is properly followed. This, in turn, helps us to achieve our aim of reducing both pollution and waste.
Collecting and Disposing of Vehicles
Serving the local community, we collect and dispose of end-of-life-vehicles as well as keeping our streets clean and tidy by removing crashed and abandoned vehicles for local authorities. To ensure all cars are removed safely and swiftly, we have a fleet of vehicles available. Furthermore, our collect and disposal services are also available for national parking companies who need illegally parked and non-taxed vehicles removing.
To safely de-pollute and recycle end-of-life vehicles, we use state-of-the-art equipment and draw on our many years of experience to ensure that the process goes as smoothly as possible. The first stage of the recycling process involves removing all hazardous waste and fluids from the vehicle to ensure it is de-polluted. After this has been completed, the waste scrap is then deposited in our scrap material handling machine. The scrap is then inserted into our ultra-modern automatic recycling bailer. The bailer then processes the scrap into a bailed material. Once the de-pollution and crushing processes have been completed, the bails can then be sold to steel mills for recycling back into new steel.
As part of our first-class service, we will notify the DVLA to inform them that your vehicle has been recycled to the standards stipulated by the Environmental Agency.
